A hard, hydrophobic layer that makes water sheet off, dirt struggle to stick, and washing take half as long. Prep done properly by Wrap Starz Customization — because prep is the whole job.
We install XPEL FUSION PLUS™ — a liquid polymer that cures into a hard, transparent layer chemically bonded to your surface. It's dramatically more durable than wax or sealant — measured in years rather than weeks.
What it does well: repels water and road grime, resists UV fade and chemical etching from bird droppings and hard water, and makes the surface far easier to clean. What it does not do: stop rock chips. A coating is a few microns thick. If impact protection is what you're after, you want paint protection film — and the two work well together.
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it. Applied over swirls and water spots, it preserves them for years. That's why the majority of our coating time goes into what happens before any coating is applied.
Depending on condition, that means a decontamination wash, chemical iron removal, clay treatment, and paint correction to level out swirls and light scratches. We'll assess your paint and tell you what level of correction it actually needs — sometimes that's a single-stage polish, sometimes it's more, and sometimes the paint is clean enough to skip it.
Hydrophobic, gloss-boosting protection with chemical, stain and UV resistance on factory or repainted finishes.
FUSION PLUS goes over new XPEL film, so washing an already-protected car takes half the effort.
Rain-shedding windshield treatment and brake-dust resistance on wheels and calipers.
Machine polishing to remove swirls, wash marks and light scratches before coating goes on.
Coated paint is easier to maintain, not maintenance-free. Wash with a pH-neutral soap and the two-bucket method, skip automatic brush washes, and dry with a clean microfiber or filtered blower.
Done that way, the water behavior and gloss hold up for years. Bring it back for a maintenance inspection annually and we'll top it if it needs it.
