Vinyl wrap is a thin decorative film — great for changing color or adding graphics, but it offers little impact protection. PPF (paint protection film) is a thicker urethane film engineered to shield your paint from rock chips, scratches, and road debris. XPEL's COLOR PPF gives you both at once: a full color change on the same protective platform as clear PPF, two to three times thicker than vinyl.
XPEL PPF is a clear, virtually invisible urethane film applied over your paint. Its top coat is elastomeric, so light swirls and fine scratches in the film disappear on their own with a little heat — from the sun, warm water, or a heat gun. It also blocks UV, resists staining, and won't yellow over time.
ULTIMATE PLUS is clear, high-gloss film that protects without changing your look. STEALTH gives that same protection with a satin/matte finish — turning gloss paint matte, reversibly. COLOR PPF is full-thickness film in 16 curated colors and finishes (gloss, satin, matte, metallic), so you get a complete color change and genuine paint protection in a single film.
PRIME CS is a color-stable dyed film — a clean, affordable look with 99% UV protection. PRIME HP is a hybrid film with better heat rejection. The nano-ceramic XR line is the step up: XR Blue and XR Black reject a lot of infrared heat (XR Black up to ~88%) without blocking phone or GPS signals, and the flagship XR Plus rejects up to 98% of infrared heat with crystal clarity. All PRIME tints block 99% of UV. We'll help you match shade and performance to your goals and Michigan's tint laws.

Most installations are completed within 3 to 4 business days, depending on the scope of the project. We don't rush — every vehicle gets the time and attention it needs for a flawless result. Tints and smaller jobs can often be done same-day.
Wait a few days before washing, then hand wash with pH-neutral soap and avoid harsh brushes or abrasive products. PPF is low-maintenance — the self-healing top coat shrugs off fine swirls, and a ceramic coating on top makes washing even easier. We'll send care instructions specific to your installation.
