Wrap Starz Customization installs XPEL PRIME film across the full range — up to 98% infrared heat rejection, 99% UV block, signal-friendly, and it never fades or turns purple.
We install XPEL PRIME window film across the full range. Every PRIME film blocks 99% of UV, is signal-friendly — no interference with cell, GPS or Bluetooth — and will never fade or turn purple the way cheap dyed film does.
What separates the tiers is how much infrared heat each film rejects. That's the part you actually feel sitting in a parked car in July, and it's independent of how dark the tint looks.
We'll match the film to what you're after and to Michigan window tint law — not just sell you the most expensive option on the shelf.
Michigan law is more specific than most people expect. Front side windows and the windshield are restricted, while rear side windows and the rear windshield are treated differently.
We'll walk you through what's legal for your vehicle before we cut anything, and we'll tell you plainly if what you're asking for isn't. Getting pulled over for a tint ticket costs more than doing it right the first time.
Medical exemptions exist in Michigan for certain conditions. If that applies to you, bring your documentation and we'll work within it.
Color-stable dyed film. Clean, affordable, 99% UV protection, and it holds its color instead of going purple.
High-performance hybrid with stronger heat rejection and a signature reflective finish.
Nano-ceramic films. XR Blue gives crisp, low-glare clarity; XR Black rejects up to 88% of infrared heat with a deeper black and low reflectivity.
The flagship. Multi-layer nano-ceramic rejecting up to 98% of infrared heat with crystal clarity.
Beyond tint, we also install XPEL Windshield Protection Film — clear urethane applied to the windshield itself. It absorbs rock and debris impacts that would otherwise chip or crack the glass, stays optically clear, and blocks 99% of UV.
On newer vehicles it also protects the factory ADAS sensors mounted behind the glass. A windshield replacement on a car with driver-assist features means a sensor recalibration on top of the glass cost, so preventing the crack is considerably cheaper than fixing it.
Tints and smaller jobs are usually same-day. Expect some haziness and small water pockets for the first few days — that's moisture curing out, and it clears on its own. Leave the windows up for three to five days.
